Liquid Gypsum is a micronized liquid suspension concentrate of calcium and sulphur and has an average particle size of 2 to 5 microns. Due to the increased surface area, the product reacts very quickly in the soil. It contains pure calcium (Ca) and sulphur (S), in the sulphate (SO4) form, so it is most ideally suited for application to brackish and saline soils. After an application, the suspension will penetrate the soil profile by moving quickly and easily in between the soil colloids. With sufficient moisture it will penetrate right down to the root zone where it’s needed to reduce the activity, excess and toxicity of excess salts.
Apply 25-50ml per litre of water when plants show signs of calcium deficiency.
