Metal Halide lamps are blue emphasized spectrum lamps which are best suited for vegetative growth.

Metal Halide lamp is broad spectrum lamp which can be used in both the vegetative and blooming stages of the plant growth cycle.

MaxPar's patent pending outer jacket has been designed to bring MH DE lamp technology to open rated fixtures.

MaxPar's outer borasilicate jacket helps to provide the required additional protection required for potentially explosive high pressure MH lamps. The unique outer jacket is open on the ends to allow proper heat dissipation of the internal quartz arc tube and inner jacket. There is very little increase in operation temperature of the arc tube and NO degradation of lamp life.

Which bulb to use

• 4K lamps are recommended for Vegetative growth

• 6K lamps are recommended for Vegetative and Flower stage, and growth for mother plants

• 10K lamps are used at the end of flower cycle to boost trichome production

• Available in 1000W and 600W bulb. 

• Available in  

       -4200k (Ideal colour temperature for all stages but not ideal for both) 

       -6000k (Ideal colour temperature for Vegetative stage)   

       -10000K (Ultimate finisher, and can be used in last 2-3 weeks of flowering stage) 

• Predominantly contains a ‘Blue’ colour spectrum which is typically best to use in the vegetative stage.
