On Saturday 25th June we hosted the inaugural Hydrobiz Swap Meet. The event was held at Hydrobiz and Sensiva Cafe in Woodstock. It was a huge party, with over 220 people in attendance. At retail value, prizes and sponsored gifts to the value of R80000 were gifted.  

The idea of this event is to present a forum for the the cannabis growing community to come together and share and swap genetics (seeds, clones and plants), connect, learn and above all have some fun.

On the day, we invited Dr Dankenstein and Cape Coastal Hybrids as our headline acts, with flower samples from Pandemic Genetics on show. Some statistics from the day

- 223 people attended the event 

- 200 boerewors rolls were braaied by the Hydrobiz crew with 120 sponsored beers to wash them down.

- Dr Dankenstein handed out over 140 seed packs

- Cape Coastal handed out 130 clones and 20 pre-veg plants.

- Hydrobiz sponsored 50 Mega Solution Nutrient 3x1L sets, 5 Kushy Growkits and 3 Kushy hampers

- Dirty Hands gifted 10 bags of Orgasoilux and 10 bottles of CMC.

- Nanolux sponsored the main prize in a lucky draw, where the winner walked away with a Nanolux 315w CMH fixture and bulb.

- Free stuff sponsored by Hydrobiz, Kushy, Mega Nutrient solutions, Nanolux, Dr Dankenstein, Cape Coastal and Dirty Hands was worth R80000.

More impressive was the generosity of the community. So many people brought seeds, clones and one kind soul was even handing out free weed samples. Talk about paying it forward. Well done everyone - you are all awesome!!
